Life's too short for heels.

It all started in college and a mini love-affair with a small town in Laguna called Liliw. We loved its gorgeous old church and yummy bonete bread, but fell head over heels for their sturdy, reasonably priced flats. (FYI, Liliw is the tsinelas capital of Laguna!)

Then we became moms, got packed schedules and bit by the travel bug. We realized that life's too short for heels. We remembered our love affair with Liliw, and the passage of time made our appreciation for its shoe artisans' craftsmanship grow even more. Charmed with how each shoe shop's "factory" is literally in their backyards, and how each pair lovingly handmade, we hit on a universal truth: A good pair of flats really is a lady's best friend--and need not cost her leg!
